Buyer misused returns
Problem Summary:
I sold this board to him and he opened a return with the false claim that the pin connector had arrived damaged, even though I clearly expressed this damage in a very close-up photo that was included in the listing. The funny thing is that I sold the male connector of this very board -which looked to be in worse shape- to another buyer and I received positive feedback from him. Anyway, I proceeded to reach out to the buyer over the course of ten days, asking if he tried to hook it up and use it, and I sent him at least 5 messages, with the final asking him to confirm that he received a refund, and the only response I got from him was a condescending response about how he has been in the electrical field for over 45 years and that he won't take the chance of shorting out his treadmill and losing $250 plus -even though he stole a $129.95 board from me. I went ahead and refunded him the $129.95 and told him "if you want to do what's right, send the board back on your own accord. I can't lose more money to the shipping companies; and frankly, after seeing your fruits, I just don't trust that you haven't already switched the connectors and that you'll just send me back your old, broken board." and even after I refunded this guy, he still wouldn't confirm that he received the refund. I had to get eBay to step in and close the case -obviously in my favor- but they went ahead and fed into his horrible behavior and refunded him the additional $20 for shipping. This guy is a real piece of work. He has a sense of entitlement and he's a lying, thieving, disrespectful old scrooge! And don't get me wrong: I always immediately and completely refund all buyers who have any issues with my items, I even state this in all my listings and I would've done this for him had he been honest, but this guy was obviously being a picky, old, lying snot who can't take accountability for his actions. Watch out for this guy! I've never reported anyone before; I don't prefer to waste my time, typing away at the keyboard; but this guy is the worst of the worst: rotten evil in every way.
